Plastic Upcycle: Foldable Tote Bag Hands-on Workshop
Globally 1 million plastic bags are used per minute and only 1% of them are recycled. According to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, at least 8 million tons of plastic dumped into our ocean each year. To make it worse, Indonesia has been one of top 5 contributing countries to the world’s plastic pollution problem.
Are you one of those people who put these innocent marine life at jeopardy? Don’t forget last year a whale was killed having nearly 6kg of plastic waste in its stomach.
We need a big step to live without plastic, but it’s not too late to take a simple action to reduce the use of plastic bags by upcycling them into something useful. Kertabumi will teach you from scratch how to upcycle plastic bags into beautiful foldable tote bag. You can bring your own plastic bags!
